This residence is located in a temperate continental climate zone. In winter, it is cold and snowy; in summer, it is hot with intense sunlight; and in spring and autumn, there is a significant temperature difference between day and night.

Customer expectations:
Build a sunroom that can be used comfortably throughout the four seasons. It should be able to effectively withstand -20℃ temperatures in winter, deal with temperatures above 30℃ in summer, and adapt to the large temperature differences between day and night in spring and autumn.
Ensure that the sunroom has good lighting performance and can effectively shade from the sun when needed, protecting privacy.
The structure should be sturdy and durable, capable of withstanding heavy snow loads in winter and possible severe weather such as storms in summer, while controlling the overall construction and later maintenance costs.

Design Plan:
Climate Regulation System: Utilizes double-layer low-emissivity glass filled with argon gas, effectively blocking heat conduction and radiation. It keeps warm in winter and provides insulation in summer. Sunshades are installed, which can be opened or closed according to the intensity of sunlight and indoor temperature, ensuring good lighting while also shading and cooling the space.
Structural Reinforcement Design: Uses high-strength aluminum alloy frames, which undergo special surface treatment to enhance corrosion resistance; adopts concealed drainage design, which can quickly and effectively drain rainwater and prevent water accumulation problems.

Project Outcomes:
This sunroom has become the leisure and entertainment center of the client’s home, adding approximately 25 square meters of multi-functional usable space, which has greatly expanded the living space of the residence.
The energy-saving effect is remarkable. Through professional testing, during the heating season, it saves 50% compared to traditional sunrooms, and during the cooling season, it saves 40%. This effectively reduces the client’s energy expenses.
The indoor comfort level throughout the year has significantly improved. Even in extreme weather conditions, the indoor temperature can remain within a comfortable range.
